Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) or your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grate the zucchini using a box grater and squeeze out excess moisture with a clean kitchen towel.
  3. Combine the drained zucchini with breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls or patties, about the size of a golf ball.
  5. Lightly spray the tops of the zucchini balls with cooking spray and arrange them in the air fryer or on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, or air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
  7. Allow the zucchini balls to cool for a few minutes before serving.
