  • 1.25 cups milk Low-fat versions work fine too.
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard Adjust to taste for a personalized touch.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket.
  3. Stuff each chicken breast with 2-3 slices of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese.
  4. Prepare your egg and flour mixture in a shallow dish.
  5. Coat the chicken in the egg mixture then roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Place coated chicken breasts on a lightly greased baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk while whisking.
  8. Stir in Dijon mustard and grated Parmesan cheese into the sauce until fully combined.
  9. Remove toothpicks from the chicken and serve with the creamy Dijon sauce.
