  • 2 pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Milk or plant-based milk for vegan
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs plain or panko
  • 1 cup Panko
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil for frying
For the Garlic Butter Bread
  • 4 tablespoons Salted Butter or unsalted
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley optional
  • 1/4 cup Finely Grated Parmesan
For the Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Anchovy Paste
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
For Assembly
  • 1 head Romaine Lettuce or any leafy green
  • 4 pieces Hoagies or Baguette for sandwich base

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prepare chicken cutlets by slicing the chicken breasts, seasoning, dipping in egg and milk mixture, rolling in breadcrumbs, and frying until golden.
  2. Make garlic butter spread by mixing butter, mayonnaise, garlic, parsley, and Parmesan. Spread on sliced bread and toast until crispy.
  3. Prepare dressing by mixing mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan, lemon juice, mustard, anchovy paste, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic until smooth.
  4. Toss chopped romaine with the dressing until coated.
  5. Assemble sandwiches by layering chicken, dressed romaine, and topping with more Parmesan. Serve immediately.
