For the Hot Honey Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Butter Switch to plant-based butter for dairy-free.
  • 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar Cane sugar can also be used.
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar Lemon juice can work too.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment.
  2. Crush the cornflakes using a food processor or rolling pin until fine.
  3. Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour and brown sugar, another with eggs and hot sauce, and the third with cornflakes, paprika, and spices.
  4. Slice chicken breasts into even portions and season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Dredge chicken in the flour mixture, followed by the egg wash, and finally in the cornflake mixture.
  6. Arrange coated chicken on a greased baking sheet and spray the tops with nonstick cooking spray.
  7. Bake for 15-16 minutes or until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. In a small saucepan, combine honey, additional hot sauce, butter, brown sugar, vinegar, and spices. Stir until melted and slightly thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  9. Remove chicken from oven, drizzle hot honey sauce generously over the chicken, and serve immediately.
