- Step 1: Cook Pasta - Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Step 2: Sauté Onions and Garlic - Heat olive oil in a skillet, add onion and garlic, sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent.
- Step 3: Blend Sauce - Transfer sautéed onion and garlic to a blender. Add white beans, half of reserved pasta water, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
- Step 4: Heat Sauce - Pour the sauce back into the skillet, heat gently, and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Step 5: Combine with Pasta - Add drained pasta to the skillet, toss gently to coat with sauce, and finish with fresh parsley.
