  2. Place the seasoned chicken in a baking dish and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Set aside to rest before slicing.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour to create a roux, whisking until it bubbles and turns light golden.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream, cooking until thickened and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted. Optionally mix in melted mozzarella.
