Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large jar, mix 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee with 4 cups of cold filtered water. Stir gently to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated, creating a rich base for the Coconut Vanilla Cold Brew. Seal the jar with a lid, and set aside for brewing.
- Place the jar in the refrigerator and let it steep for 12 to 18 hours. This slow brewing process will develop a smooth flavor without bitterness.
- After brewing, remove the jar from the refrigerator. Carefully strain the coffee mixture into another clean jar or pitcher to remove all grounds.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together 1 cup of canned coconut milk, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt until smooth.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the strained cold brew over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full. Top it with the coconut vanilla cream.
- Gently stir the cold brew and coconut vanilla cream together until combined, enjoying the blend of flavors.
