- Wash and cut off the stems of fresh green beans. Blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain.
- Combine cream of mushroom soup and milk in a large mixing bowl. Stir until smooth.
- Fold in prepared green beans and stir in 2/3 cup of crispy fried onions. Season with black pepper.
- For air fryer, spray a baking dish, add green bean mixture, air fry at 350°F for 10 minutes, stir, add remaining onions, air fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- For oven, transfer to casserole dish, bake at 350°F for 25 minutes, stir, top with onions, bake for additional 5 minutes.
- Let sit for a few minutes before serving.
