Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Christmas Stuffed Shells
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Steam the spinach for about 1 minute until wilted, then chop finely.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add pasta shells, and cook for approximately 10 minutes until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, ricotta, pecorino, garlic, oregano, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread marinara sauce across the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Stuff each shell with the filling and place them seam-side up in the dish.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and let cool for a few minutes. Serve hot with additional marinara sauce.
