  • 2 cups Beef Broth Swap in vegetable broth for a lighter taste
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream Substitute with milk for a lighter version

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, beaten eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixed meatloaf mixture into your prepared dish and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Bake for 50–60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) and the top is golden brown.
  5. While baking, melt unsalted butter in a skillet and sauté the fresh mushrooms for 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir for 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring until thickened.
  7. Once baked, let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
