  • 1 tsp Salt adjust based on brand
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper omit or reduce to taste
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Chuck or substitute with ground turkey
  • 1 lb Ground Pork or replace with ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup Grated Onion (optional) omit if preferred
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Parsley (or Basil) or swap with dried herbs
For Cooking
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil or use other cooking oils as an alternative

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak the fresh breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes until moist and fluffy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soaked breadcrumbs with egg yolks, grated cheese, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to form a thick paste.
  3. In a large bowl, mix ground beef and ground pork gently, then add breadcrumb mixture and chopped parsley, blending well.
  4. Using a ¼-cup measuring cup, scoop out portions and roll into balls, placing them on a plate.
  5. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and brown meatballs for about 6-7 minutes until golden and reaching 165°F internal temperature.
  6. Optionally, transfer browned meatballs to tomato sauce and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  7. To bake, preheat oven to 425°F and bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
