  • 1 can Canned Refrigerated Pizza Dough Substitute with homemade dough if desired.
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash.
  • 1 tbsp Water For egg wash.
For the Cheesy Filling
  • 6-7 sticks Mozzarella Cheese Can substitute with cheddar for different flavor.
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Divided; adjust based on cheese cravings.
For the Flavor Enhancements
  • 3 tbsp Butter Use unsalted for better salt control.
  • 1 clove Grated Garlic Can substitute with ¼ tsp garlic powder.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley Finely chopped; can use dried parsley as substitute.
  • ½ tbsp Fresh Rosemary Finely chopped; or about 1 tsp dried rosemary.
  • ½ tbsp Fresh Basil Finely chopped; use dried basil if fresh is unavailable.
For Serving
  • Marinara Sauce For dipping.
  • Pesto Sauce For dipping.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into 30 equal squares.
  3. Slice mozzarella cheese sticks into 30 bite-sized pieces and place one on each dough square.
  4. Fold edges of dough over cheese and roll into tight balls.
  5. Arrange dough balls on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree.
  6. Whisk together egg and water to create egg wash, then brush over the dough balls.
  7. Bake for 16-18 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Melt butter and mix with half of the grated parmesan, garlic, and chopped herbs.
  9. Brush herb butter mixture over baked bread and sprinkle remaining parmesan on top.
  10. Serve warm with marinara or pesto sauce for dipping.
