Step-by-Step Instructions for Cheesy Baked Tortellini
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the refrigerated or frozen cheese tortellini. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 3-4 minutes. Once done, drain the tortellini and set it aside.
  2. While the tortellini is draining, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or olive oil.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and selected seasonings. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked, roughly 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  4. Reduce the heat slightly and stir in your pasta sauce along with the cream cheese into the cooked beef. Mix until well combined and let it simmer for around 3-5 minutes.
  5. Carefully fold the drained tortellini into the skillet with the meat sauce, ensuring that each piece is generously coated.
  6. Transfer the tortellini and meat sauce mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
  7. Place the Cheesy Baked Tortellini in your preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
  8. Once baked, switch your oven to broil and allow the casserole to broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  9. Let the Cheesy Baked Tortellini cool for a few minutes before serving.
