Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Cook 8 ounces of pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan, add 2 cloves minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Whisk in 2 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper to form a paste.
  5. Slowly add 1 cup of whole milk, cooking until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes, then stir in 2 cups of cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Combine the drained pasta with the cheese sauce until well coated.
