Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin with butter.
  2. Bring salted water to a rolling boil in a large pot and cook 8 ounces of pasta until al dente, about 6-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat, add 2 cloves of minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute. Whisk in 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/8 teaspoon of ground black pepper, and 2 tablespoons of flour, cooking for another minute.
  4. Slowly pour in 1 cup of milk while continually stirring until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
  5. Remove from heat and fold in 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted and creamy.
  6. Gently mix the cooked pasta into the cheese sauce, ensuring every piece is coated.
  7. Fill each greased muffin cup with the mac and cheese mixture, pressing down lightly.
  8. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs evenly over the top of each filled muffin cup.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tops are golden brown. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
